Boogaloo Swamis

Boogaloo Swamis

Hands down, the Boogaloo Swamis are on the list for New England’s top five party bands. The Boston based Boogaloo Swamis have been performing throughout the region for the past twenty-three years with five recordings and four Boston Music Awards to their credit.  The group features the riveting accordion, rubboard and second fiddle of Mickey Bones, the wailing guitar of Joe Pete, the Cajun sounds of lead fiddler Joey Kessler with the driving beat of Ted Larkin on drums and Brian Rost on bass. This band knows how to make a place come alive.  The Boogaloo Swamis are smashing the old barriers of Cajun and zydeco tradition, bringing it into the future, while still staying true to its form and function. They do this all while making friends wherever they go.
