In 2003 the Dover Rotary Club headed a project to raise funds to reconstruct the band shell in Henry Law Park. The 18th annual Cochecho Arts Festival opened with a special dedication ceremony of the brand new bandshell to be known as the Rotary Arts Pavilion in Henry Law Park located at the corner of Washington Street and Henry Law Park Ave in Dover.
There are 200 permanent, amphitheater style, seats in surrounding the stage at the Rotary Arts Pavilion. There is additional seating on the grass around and behind the permanent seating.
The Festival Committee recommends that you bring something soft on which to sit on the amphitheater seats and encourages you to bring blankets and folding chairs to the concerts to sit on the grass. General rule of thumb… blankets to the front, chairs in the back. Please keep the area wheelchair accessible.
