Paul Harkins

Paul Harkins

Paul is a singer/songwriter who can be found behind a mic at venues up and down the Seacoast of New England. He carefully crafts songs rich in melody and anchored in tasteful guitar solos. He is dedicated to perfecting his craft which is evident in songs like “New Orleans,” “South Africa,” and “Cinque Terre!”  Paul’s songs stray from the bubble gum topics so pervasive in today’s popular music, and instead focus on stories that “reach down into my soul,” he says. “I want my lyrics to have purpose and bring awareness to issues.”

Harkins is now preparing for the June/2012 release of his first album, “Extraordinary Moments.” To express yourself, he says, and to affect people through music, is what it means to be a musician.

“It’s about people feeling good at a show and enjoying the moment.  If you put your heart out there and push away self-doubt, you can make things happen in this world.
